Temper | Poem

A furnace lies at the pit of my stomach

Blaring noises, condescension, passive aggression fuels it

Hotter and hotter

Until the heat rises up

And boils over my tongue

Shaping it thin and sharp

Hitting targets with stunning accuracy

Blood fills the streets
